Blizzard Delays Their New MMO

Blizzards new MMO, only known as Titan, has been delayed, and rumours suggest we may only see it in 2016. Blizzard has confirmed the delay.

“We’ve always had a highly iterative development process, and the unannounced MMO is no exception, we’ve come to a point where we need to make some large design and technology changes to the game.” Shon Damron said.

Shon also made sure to kill any release date rumours with her next comment “We’re using this opportunity to shift some of our resources to assist with other projects while the core team adapts our technology and tools to accommodate these new changes. Note that we haven’t announced any dates for the MMO.”

There are also rumours that the team of 100 has been cut down to 70, and that the team is starting over completely. It is not a World of Warcraft sequel, and Titan was announced in 2010. We’re sure to see a quality game, but the wait is agonizing!

As the Ed of SAGP you will more than likely find me in my favourite chair, hunched over my keyboard, mug of tea close at hand, scouring the web for something interesting to write about. I’m ever present on the site, Facebook, and Twitter. If by any chance I’m NOT doing one of these things I may have been kidnapped and forced to study against my will.

No suprise there. We’re talking about Blizzard. They’re famous for delaying their games.

They are indeed, but as I said, we’re sure to see something of quality. So hopefully its worth the wait.
