Call of Duty: Ghosts confirmed for Wii U

The highly anticipated Call of Duty: Ghosts will also be releasing on the Nintendo Wii U.

This was confirmed today when the official box art (as seen below) was posted on Nintendo’s official Wii U Facebook page. The game will feature Wii remote and second screen GamePad support.

Call of Duty: Ghosts will be out on 5th November on PC, Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii U. Xbox One and PS4 versions will follow shortly thereafter.

It seems its the only biggest franchise willing to support the Wii U console, that’s a good thing coz since the announcement of next gen consoles some Developers have shifted their focus away from the Wii U deeming it a worthless platform, i’m glad Activision is bringing Ghosts to the platform, Black Ops 2 did great, ;)

Yeah, the Wii U really hasn’t had a chance to prove itself yet, and it’s being overlooked on so many levels. It’s great for Nintendo classics, but the market for those classics isn’t half as big as the market for games from one big third party developer, like Activision. Totally agree with what you’re saying and hoping to see the Wii U garner some success with these upcoming titles.
